About Rob

Rob is admitted to the Ontario Bar.

Rob began his career as an Assistant Crown Attorney, and then worked at a large law firm in Toronto. He also served as general counsel to several start ups and small businesses. He returned to private practice in 2007, and launched a solo practice in 2010.

Rob grew up in Barry, Ontario and comes from a long line of lawyers and public servants. He obtained a B.A. in History and Government from York University and graduated cum laude from Osgoode Law School.

Rob has had a lifelong interest and commitment to advocating for people with disabilities. Prior to earning his law degree, Rob taught school and worked with young adults with developmental disabilities.  On a more personal level, he is also a parent of a child receiving special education services. Rob serves on the board of Disability Rights Centre, which is a protection and advocacy agency for people with disabilities.

Rob is a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA). He is an avid Leaf’s fan, and enjoys golf and skiing. He and his family live in Toronto.
